I've been working in film lighting for four years, shooting for two years, and honestly I couldn't imagine loving any job more.

Cinematography is creating mood with beauty, sculpting with light, bringing a script to life with shadow and colour and framing. I love the challenges that each day at work brings, whether that means scaling rooftops to black out windows, trawling cables through muddy fields in the middle of the night, or sitting with a director and talking about how to bring their vision to the screen with light and lenses.
